Marnie Webb and Linda Corso with U of G's food Safety Network have been featured in the national media over the past week discussing the recent Maple Leaf Foods Inc. meat recall and giving advice to consumers. Corso appeared on CBC's Newsworld and also answered questions online for Globe and Mail readers. The questions and answers were published in Thursday's newspaper. August 28, according to foreign news media, market research firm Gartner Inc. released the latest investigation report said that the global mobile phone sales in the second quarter reached 305 million, increase 11.8 percent year-over-year. Last year, global handset sales was 273 million in the second quarter.
